Who, When & Where is the 100% Arty Market?

• The offer is for all creatives living across the STA Region to be part of the day and sell their original creative work. 
• Artists need to be STA Members or join up (it’s free and connects you to the whole STA Universe of  benefits) 
• The 100% Arty Market is at Bowral Art Gallery 1 Short Street Bowral
• 10am – 4pm Sunday 9 November 2024, timed perfectly to coincide with the first weekend of the SH Arts Trail in late spring when the Highlands are glorious.
• Stallholders set up between 8am – 10am. Pack up between 4pm– 5pm.

What Can I Sell?

The 100% Arty Market is all about creative makers. If you’re an STA Member and make cool stuff to sell the 100% Arty Market is for you. Visual Art, music, crafts, handmade items, textiles, adornment. Our focus is providing independent creatives a platform to showcase and sell their work. Think creative, unique, handmade and that’s the 100% Arty Market.

What Can’t I Sell?

The 100% Arty Market is for local, handmade and creative. That means there are lots of things not suitable for our market such as; Anything mass produced, Food, Health/Cosmetics/Medicines/Alcohol/ Amusements, Electrical goods/Tools, Massage/Therapy, Hazardous and Dangerous Goods, Ammunition, Automobile Parts, Bicycles, Child Restraint Devices, Christmas Tree lights, Firearms, Children’s Furniture, Sporting goods or athletic equipment, Protective equipment, Ride on Toys ie Skateboards, roller skates roller blades, water amusement equipment, Projectile toys, E cigarettes, Solar Panels

Stall Fees

100% Arty Market stall spaces vary slightly but are generally 3.0m X 3.0m. the space will accommodate a stall set up with tables and shade cover.

• $50 with insurance
• $60 if you want to come under STA insurance

• Please note all 100% Arty Market sites are unpowered.

All 100% Arty Market Creatives must be covered by Public & Products Liability Insurance

You can opt to be covered by our insurance for a $10 premium or supply your own insurance.

Your own public and product liability policy must have a minimum of $10,000,000.00 cover in the name of the person or entity that has been approved to trade at the Arty Market. A copy of the Insurance Certificate of Currency must be supplied via emailed one week prior to the 100% Arty Market. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to ensure that the insurance is up to date and remains current for the term that the stallholder undertakes trading activity at the Market.

Applying to be a Stallholder

Please scroll down to submit an application to become a stallholder. In your application, please send us photos of the work or similar that you will be selling at the 100% Arty Market.
Online links such as your website, Facebook page, Instagram handle and anything else you think will help us see what kind of work you will be offering is also helpful.

If offered a stall you will be sent to link to book in and pay.
Cancellations need to be made 20 days prior to the 100% Arty Market. Cancellations made after this time will not be accepted.

If you miss out on a site (there are limited spaces) your may be waitlisted. We are keen for unique traders who will bring something interesting to our 100% Arty Market.

The 100% Arty Market has easy & flat access. If you need support to be one of our Creatives please reach out. We will work with you to make your involvement possible 🙂

How Do I Book my site once I’m accepted?

If your application is successful you will be sent the link to book in and pay for your site online.

On the day of the 100% Arty Market

What’s provided and what’s not

• Your 100% Arty Market site will be clear and ready for you to install your items.
• You need to supply all infostructure to conduct your stall.
• Blankets, floorcovering, suitcases full of goodies, tables, chairs, shade umbrellas etc.
• Electronic payment devices and signal.

100% Arty Market promotions will encourage patrons to bring cash to purchase treasure.

Parking & Moving

Parking will be at a premium on the day of the 100% Arty Market. Please be prepared to drop off your items and move your car to free up spaces for gallery and market visitors on the day.

Be prepared to carry your items to your 100% Arty Market space. There will be a couple of trolleys available to borrow on the day, but best option is to be as self-sufficient as possible.

Rubbish, Waste & Responsible Packaging

• All rubbish, waste and packaging must be taken away by Creative stallholders. Bins provided do not cater for stallholder rubbish. The stall site must be left in the condition it was found.
• Not welcome at the 100% Arty Market are single use plastic bags or ‘new’ non-recyclable packaging.
• 100% Arty Market promotions will encourage patrons to bring their own bags for purchased treasures.

Bad Weather Policy

The 100% Arty Market is conducted in the open air and will operate in varying weather conditions including wet weather. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to bring their own covers, weights to hold down equipment and other equipment for the purpose of protection against adverse weather conditions.

The 100% Arty Market will not be cancelled and no credits or refunds are issued in the event of bad weather. Please do not apply for a site unless you are prepared to take the risk on weather.
