While painting the columns of the Goulburn civic building, the many encounters I had with enthusiastic locals caused me to have a revelation  and the seed to help change the way art and creativity is experienced within my community  was planted.

Paint and sip classes seemed an obvious choice, so Van Gogh n Vino was born. My own encounter with the wonder of making bowls and cups with my own hands for my own use simply by playing with clay gave rise to Clay 4 Play. Portrait photography has always been an obsession and the mission to photograph the locals of Goulburn brings the third component to Pigment 107.

Many times I had peered through the windows of a row of vacant shops on Auburn street, ideas flowing through my head and once again I found myself standing outside these shops, finally I had the perfect opportunity to bring something vibrant and exciting to one of these long abandoned spaces.

Inspired by the workings of an artist’s studio you will have the opportunity to not only have fun making and socialising but also get an inside view of an artist’s practice.
