Stories from the Studio: Gary Vehtic the Creative Director of STA Screen program

This week we caught up with Gary Vehtic the new Creative Director of the STA Screen 2023 Season! Gary has curated an amazing line up of films across 2023 that form the 2023 STA Screen program.

Gary is a dedicated movie buff who enjoys making short films inspired by his favourite nostalgic movies. Gary also combines his love of film with design, creating pop culture-inspired t-shirts, which feature mash-ups of cult movies and TV shows.

You are warmly invited to join Gary for a better than ever movie experience at the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre. It’s a whole new level of state-of-the-art luxury as you settle in for amazing movies on the big screen. Be treated every session with  Q&As, trivia, dress ups and lucky door prizes! The 2023 Season offers you Silver screen classics, 80s cult hits and locally made award winning films. Movies you’ve longed to see on the big screen.

The first movie we have for the season is a locally made film, The Lonely Spirits Variety Hour. It’s a hilariously weird and wonderful film! Get there early at 3:30pm and listen to Peter Campbell and Brian Rapsey (the film’s Cinematographer & editor) play a few songs at the bar as you arrive. Stay after the film for an exclusive Q&A with cast and crew, including Director Platon Theodoris and Cinematographer & Editor Brian Rapsey!
