Stories from the Studio: Helen & Danielle from Good Hope Pottery

This week, we get a glimpse of Helen & Danielle’s Good Hope Pottery Studio! Helen and Danielle, are a mother and daughter pottery team working together to create nature inspired pieces of ceramic that are both useful and beautiful. They are located at Good Hope on the shores of Lake Burrinjuck surrounded by natural beauty.

Helen has been creating large coil pottery vases with some pieces currently in Tyger Gallery in Yass. Danielle has been focusing on functional production style pottery creating gorgeous vases, kitchenware and café cups.

“We are still travelling the pottery journey with lots of ideas about firing techniques and glazing options. We work together sharing our ideas and perspectives. Pottery is a daily practice for us in which we continue to learn and enjoy the fluidity of clay in all its form and beauty.”
