Stories from the Studio: Sami Sparrow

This week STA visited the studio of Goulburn based artist Sami Sparrow. Sami is known for her vibrant and bold style, influenced by street art, tattoo art, and vintage designs. During my visit, Sami shared details about her latest projects, including her mural at the Verner Street bus stop for the Paint the Town festival.

Sami’s studio is filled with works in progress and vintage items that inspire her. She spoke about her creative process and how she enjoys exploring new techniques and ideas. Since starting her career in 2015, Sami has authored three internationally published coloring books and participated in numerous art exhibitions.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Sami enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pets, Luna and Chewie. Her passion for art and dedication to her craft are evident in everything she creates.
