Artstate Arts Program Director, Scott Howie unveiling the program for Artstate Wagga Wagga.

The Fourth and Final Artstate Program is now LIVE!

Last week, Regional Arts NSW ventured to Wagga Wagga to unveil the arts program for the fourth and final Artstate.

The launch event took place in the Wagga Civic Theatre, in a Covid-safe manner, and was attended by many via livestream. If you missed it, you can catch it here.

As the four-year program draws to an end, Artstate 2020 will not only a deliver a fantastic creative showcase of the Riverina and Wiradjuri culture, but it will be a wonderful conclusion of an ongoing, four-year celebration of the excellent creative practice that takes place in regional communities across the entire state.

Regional Arts NSW CEO Elizabeth Rogers said, “While the program is very different from what we had envisaged due to the measures put in place to keep our communities safe from Covid-19, the program will once again be a spectacular display of creativity that is reflective of the region.  I want to congratulate Scott Howie, the Arts Program Director, and all the artists for adjusting their works in these uncertain times to ensure we are still able to showcase the cultural and creative offerings of the Riverina during Artstate.”

Delegate tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks, accompanied by the unveiling of the speaker’s program. In the meantime, we encourage you to jump online for a preview of the fantastic arts program for Artstate 2020!
