Run don’t walk to Boorowa for the annual Woolfest this October Long weekend. A highlight every year is the Boorowa Art Show.
This week STA were invited behind the scenes for a sneak peek as the dedicated team behind the exhibition started the process to transform the Boorowa Courthouse into a gallery full of fabulous art. And the best thing it’s all for sale over the weekend.
Lead by Susan Corcoran the team have gathered works from dozens of artists in this art spectacular that’s only on once a year over the October long weekend. There is sure to be something to tempt everyone.
The courthouse will be fill to the brim with colour and creativity showcasing local talent. So once you have witnessed the spectacle of the Running of the Sheep and the full street festival that is Woolfest make sure you visit the art show and maybe even find a treasure to take home.
STA is set to be part of the fun on the main festival day on Sunday with a Waste to Art creative activity. Find us in front of the Op Shop on Pudman Street.
Do you need another reason? OK the drive is spectacular with hills of golden canola lining the road.

Official opening from 5pm Friday 4 October.
Exhibition open 10am to 4pm Saturday 4 October 10am to 12noon Monday 7 October.
Located at the Old Boorowa Court House on Marsden St. Entry is FREE
