About the Garden Venue
“The garden was established by the local landcare group in 2009. They planted a wind break of trees around the perimeter of the garden along with heirloom fruit trees and the beautiful hops arbour. They managed the garden through to around 2020 when Rotary offered to assist, taking on the responsibility of looking after it. Raised garden beds have been established along with a lot of infrastructure in the garden. Regular meetings are had to maintain, plant, harvest, and develop the garden and beds, sharing the produce with all those who participate.“
Please note that the path to the garden from Turallo Terrace is unpaved and approximately 40m in length. It is accessible in dry conditions for both prams and wheelchairs.
