Creating and Thriving: Stories from the Studio

STA had the pleasure of visiting the new Atrium Gallery at the Civic Centre in Moss Vale to see the Creating and Thriving exhibition. We were even treated to a tour of the show by Suzie Presswell, Community Development Officer with Wingecarribee Shire Council. Suzie talked us through some of the amazing work on display in the exhibition that was put together to celebrate International Day for People with Disability.

Creating and Thriving includes work from many local artists and makers who identify as a person with a lived experience of disability. Some through access services such as Creative Space Southern Highlands, Disability Trust Mittagong, Mental Gallery and Challenge Southern Highlands.
