Farewell to Giselle and Michael
STA are celebrating the work of two amazing arts professionals who have made a huge difference to the arts and cultural landscape of the STA Region. Giselle Newbury and Michael Simic are moving on to new phases of their careers. STA are throwing them a modest party to say thank you and you’re invited.

Giselle Newbury started with STA in March 2013 and has been an arts legend across the STA region. Giselle has worked on 100s of arts projects and supported 1000s of creatives and audience members. Giselle moves into a role at Hume Conservatorium and we wish her all the best.
Michael Simic has been working in collaboration with STA since starting as the Regional Music Officer for Music NSW in April 2017. Over the last three years Michael has supported musicians with a range of projects and been instrumental in developing a regional touring network that will be launched by Music NSW soon. Michael is refocusing back on his main gig as a superstar musician.
From everyone at STA, it’s been a pleasure to work with both these amazing professional and look forward to keeping connected.
