Stories from the Studio: Infidel Studios

Tucked away within a Queanbeyan Industrial estate is Infidel Studios a sound and music makers paradise run by sound engineer Duncan Lowe.

STA visited Infidel to learn more about creating Foley sound. Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to films, videos, and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.

Duncan was working with colleagues Claire Wade (Foley artist and editor) and Janice Yap ( Foley editor) adding sounds into the ABC series White FeverIt was a rare look behind the scenes into a part of film production that most of us never get to see happen.

Infidel is a also place for musicians to record music and Duncan and his team create have worked with artist from across the region and nation to record their songs.

White Fever screened earlier this year and is available on ABC iView.

Listen for the foley sounds created at Infidel Studios.
