Jacqui Smith at Hume Conservatorium: Stories from the Studio
STA were invited by Jacqui Smith the CEO at Hume Conservatorium for a behind the scenes tour of the new Creative Precinct. We even got to attended the grand opening on Wednesday night.
The Creative Precinct is a new space that expands the performance and programming potential at Hume Conservatorium. Our opening week is a festival of music and workshops that everyone can enjoy. Come visit us this weekend and anytime.
The Creative precinct was officially opened on Wednesday evening by the honourable Ben Franklin, Member of the Legislative Council, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Regional Youth.
The evening featured the launch of the Music in the Regions program with the Acacia Quartet, who performed the first of several local concerts that continue over the coming week in Gunning and Young.
