We are looking for a new full-time Projects & Communications Officer to join our small and committed team of Arts professionals.

We are looking for a person who will excite us with their skills, experience, talent and desire to work in our sector.  

Remuneration will be in the range $34-$35/hour + super, (up to $69160 base salary per annum). Weekend hours will attract further overtime penalty rates.

It’s a Full time 38 hours per week 12-month contract position with possibility to extend beyond the initial 12 months, potentially leading to a longer-term or permanent position. The role will include occasional evening & weekend work.

The Projects & Communications Officer (PCO) position is a key role within the organisation and works together with the Executive Director and Southern Tablelands Arts Board as an advocate for regional arts and cultural development. 

The STA Team work remotely from flexible home office or similar environments and through a series of mobile office venues. The PCO will be able to work from home and connect in person with other team members and the community at various locations.

  • deeply respectful of First Nations arts, culture and language

  • wide experience in the arts, cultural or heritage sectors
  • relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalate on the job experience in an arts setting
  • a flexible can do attitude
  • embraced online meeting platforms

We are STA, a small arts organisation that has been in operation since 1997, funded by Create NSW and seven regional councils, a non-profit with a Board and Executive Director in place and part of the NSW-wide Regional Arts Network.
