Stories from the Studio: Kev Greaves

This week, we step into the world of filmmaking with Kev Greaves, a professional film maker and video editor and the founder of Reload Productions Australia. With nearly 30 years of experience, Kev has worked on a wide range of projects, including television commercials, short films, documentaries, and corporate videos for local, national, and international clients. Specializing in concept production, film editing, color grading, and visual effects, Kev is dedicated to transforming ideas into unforgettable on-screen experiences.

In a special behind-the-scenes Artist Talk at The Magic of Movie Making, Kev will share his insights into the tools of filmmaking, showing how editing, special effects, sound, and color bring stories to life. He will also premiere his self-funded documentary ‘Scratch the Surface’, a raw and unfiltered look at the creative process of three Hilltops-based artists—a passionate composer, a brilliant sculptor, and a talented visual artist. This documentary will be showcased at the launch of Hilltops Off the Beaten Tracks Arts & Cultural Trail and will be screened on the big screen in Young Cinema,  Friday, March 7, at Young Cinema.
