This week, STA visited the practice space of Mad Kelpie Playdate, an instrumental Celtic folk band based in Queanbeyan and the surrounding region. Formed in 2017, the six-piece band is known for their original compositions and modern interpretations of traditional Celtic tunes, blending influences from bluegrass and pipe bands.

Lucky for us, Mad Kelpie Playdate was in the  middle of rehearsing for their upcoming album launch and the Yass Irish & Celtic Music Festival and treated us to preview of their latest work, including “The Radish Fairy,” an original tune by Sean!
