Stories from the Studio: Menangle Country Market

The town of Menangle can be found about 15 minutes drive northeast of Picton. Surrounded by valleys of lush pasture the town boasts some impressive heritage architecture, such as the Store Menangle.
The Store has a great old barn which is now the playground of a group of local artisans and collectors who have set up the Menangle Country Market. STA got to visit Cleary, Anne and Danelle one Sunday morning and got the details on the group, the market and the fabulous array of handmade and vintage goods on offer.

  • Indulgence Avenue – Cleary keeps busy making adorable knitted toys and homewares. Soft, colourful and served with quirky wit that’s hard to resist. @indulgence_avenue_gifts
  • Flower Bar Menangle – Danielle’s uses flowers which she harvests and dries to create unique items with a touch of magic. @flowerbar_menangle
  • Anne’s Attic – is a collector’s dream of vintage goods lovinglycollected by Anne over the years. @annes_attic_curated_joy
  • Fairies by Suzio – Handcrafted delicate fairies that want to come home with you.  @fairiesbysuzio
Menangle is well worth a visit and to make it easy to choose when, the Menangle Country Market is hosting their first every community Twilight Market at The Store Menangle on Friday, November 29th, 2024, from 4-8pm.

The regular Menangle Country Market happens most Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 to 2pm. Be sure to hit the mark by checking @thestoremenanglecountrymarket before you head out.
