Paul Scott-Williams: Stories from the Studio.

This week we caught up with our new STA board member, the talented Paul Scott-Williams! He has studied at the Sydney Conservatorium and holds a Masters in Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) and a Masters in Counselling from Monash University. Paul has had a successful career as a performer, director, arts advocate and educator, most recently concluding almost eleven years as CEO of Hume Conservatorium. Now, Paul has followed his passion for psychology and counselling to establish Inachord Counselling and Wellness, based in Moss Vale, NSW.

Listen to Paul and Rose discuss Paul’s journey in the arts and how it has led to his new venture in mental health, and therapeutic counselling.

“In a nutshell, ‘Inachord’ represents harmony. Any kind of harmony (or chord) is comprised of more than one sound or vibration combining with another to create something new. Each note individually has its own sound and characteristics, but combined they can produce new, rich and diverse textures that are able to move imagination, stimulate emotional responses and somehow enrich each other”.

“Inachord Counselling and Wellness is all about understanding the emotional colour, richness, dynamics, complexity and movement in your life and in doing so, help you move beyond tension to achieve the most satisfying resolution for you!”
