Amelia is part of the ensemble cast in the current Lieder Theatre Production of Motherhood the Musical and she managed to find time to catch up with STA before tonight’s opening performance.

In the lead up the opening night I found my myself  trying to steal some time to rehearse, and include things like pumping breast milk, mowing the lawn, learning lines at the hairdresser, walking the child in the stroller to try and get my son to sleep while singing songs from the show.

Being part of a the team that keeps the Lieder running I have also been making badges (which we are selling as merch), packing our little ‘motherhood must have bags’ (which are a little snack bag for the show). Its certainly been a ‘life imitating art’ kind of week

Motherhood is a laugh-out-loud musical comedy that documents the wonderful, crazy journey of motherhood.  Brought to life by an amazing all-female cast, crew, band and production team.

There are so many talented female actors, the show features an incredible double-cast, many of whom are mothers themselves.
