Tuena Roving Art Show: Stories from the Studio
The small village of Tuena on the Western edge of Upper Lachlan Shire has many reasons for visitors to stop and spend some time. A fabulous PAINT THE TOWN Mural, craft shop with great coffee, friendly locals and this weekend the Tuena Hall is hosting the Roving Art Exhibition.
The Roving Art Exhibition is an initiative from Upper Lachlan Council to take their collection of paintings out into the villages for the community to enjoy. It’s a fabulous program that STA are proud to be supporting through hosting the online gallery of works on display.
Made even more exciting in Tuena with the addition of local work by local Artists. STA had the honour of being invited out to visit the artists as they put the finishing touches on the display which is open this weekend Saturday and Sunday.
There’s even a creative workshop program to enjoy (see details below).

Ron Ellem has works on offer that are raising funds for Captain Australia’s BIG WALK for The Kids’ Cancer Project FIND OUT MORE.
He was also a founding member of the Aboriginal Art For Sale Australia By Artist Only Facebook page which now boasts 22k members and is a place to buy art directly from Aboriginal Artists.

When STA asked if they wanted a mural Tuena community said ‘ we will even building you a wall.’ and that’s just what they did. There are 50+ street art murals across the STA Region. CHECK IT OUT.
